KARMAVEER GRAIN GROCERY DONATION/ COLLECTION SCHEME’

Akole taluka is a hilly area inhabited by tribal people that enjoys the bounty of nature. The people in the taluka were in a dis-advantaged position as far as social, economic, and educational advancement was concerned. They had to endure a great deal of adversity in their daily lives. This isolated and rugged region is where our institute is residing.

Our institution's mission is to educate each and every student who resides in the outlying regions of tribal areas, and our vision is to provide everything a student needs under one roof so that they never have to leave the campus for their undergraduate or post-graduate education. To fulfill this mission, we offer arts, commerce, and science degree programs at both the undergraduate and post-graduate levels.

The college directs its efforts on accomplishing the goals outlined in the following motto and objective. The motto that represents the Sanstha was decided upon after much deliberation and consideration. The phrase Sahase Shree Prativasati appears to be written in Sanskrit. However, there are also social and educational underpinnings to the phrase, even though it may appear to believers to be a religious proverb. The Sanstha has always drawn its motivation from the guiding principle expressed in the motto.

The late famous educator Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil is remembered for saying that he would rather have one rupee from a million people than one crore from a single wealthy benefactor. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil's dedication to educating underprivileged children in rural and tribal areas motivated our institution to do the same.  Educating the girls of this Taluka, who otherwise would not have had the chance to pursue further education due to a lack of educational options.

Under ‘Karmaveer Grain Grocery Donation/ Collection Scheme’, free food facilities are provided to the backward class students in the college hostel. The work of bringing the deprived from education into the stream of higher education 250 to 350 students are benefiting from this Scheme. The Managing Trustee Hon.            The goal of this program is to assist financially underprivileged students enrolled in our Agasti Arts, Commerce, and Dadasaheb Rupwate Science College in Akole and at neighboring rural polytechnic institute. Due to the prevailing condition of poverty, parents who belong to the lower socio-economic strata, find themselves unable to afford the expenses associated with both tuition and hostel fees for their children. Because of this, poor students are dropping out of college and going to work with their parents. These students' entitlement to an education is threatened by their family's financial situation.

Students from low-income families who receive assistance from the college administration are succeeding academically. The burden of their parents to pay hostel fees for every month is reduced. The students from low-income families will now have access to a better learning environment. As a result, the students will experience less stress and suffering. They are also able to concentrate on their academic work without difficulty.Today, the college is providing holistic education, food and shelter to 250-350 Students.
