Bachelor of Arts B.A.(English)

The Department of English started functioning right from the inception of the college in the year 1974. The department began with a single teacher and now there are six teachers in the department. The PG wing of the department was started in the year 2010. Apart from dealing with regular University courses, the department has also introduced add-on courses like Remedial Course and English for Effective Communication. The department also runs English Literary Association and Certificate Course in Basic Grammar and Communication Skills to encourage and to make students able to participate in Language and Literature activities.

Vision

To foster knowledge and skills in English with an emphasize on literature, and language, for harnessing transformative, accomplished and competent graduates who can contribute effectively and responsibly to society.
