1)    About Department:

 University of Pune sanctioned the permanent affiliation and allowed to teach history at general level since June 1986. Though the subject history is taught at general, but department always promote students to take part in various research activities. 14 students participated in University level research project competition, 10 students presented research paper in National Seminar.  Student also participated in survey during Samarth Bharat Abhiyan of Pune University and made valuable contribution in writing the history adopted village, ‘Damangaon Paat’ in Akole Tahsil. Heritage walk to the historically significance places are organized and recently students were visited to Sidhheshwar temple and Kotul to understand Hemadpanthi style of temple and Satvahan archaeological site respectively. Students are also promoted to take part in workshops as well.
