About
The Post Graduate Department of Commerce was established in the year 2009. It offers Post Graduate program ( June 2009 ) in Advanced Accounting and Taxation (M.Com). Both the programs aims to build a strong academic bond and focuses on the modern practices and strategies followed in the Commerce System. The main intention of the program is to create a Commercial Professionalism and right impact on the society with its contribution.
The objectives of the Program are as follows:
1. To acquaint and equip students with the knowledge and understanding of emerging commercial, business practices and professional understanding about the stream.
2. To help students to acquire advanced knowledge in selecting subjects and areas in Commerce and trade.
3. To facilitate the students to learn to seek application of knowledge and be able to challenge the knowledge so acquired in practice.
M.com Program consists of four Semesters and B.com Program runs as per the rules set up by the University.
The Teaching learning Systems, Examinations and evaluations are as per the rules prescribed by the University.
- B.Com: Admission to B.Com is given according to the rules of SPPU through an online merit system.
- M. Com :Admission to M.Com is given according to the rules of SPPU through an online merit system.
